My name is Norhan, and I reside in Ireland. This was my first pregnancy, thanks be to God. I attended the childbirth preparation course with Fatima, and she made a significant difference for me in many aspects. The most important was understanding my body during pregnancy, my mental health, and my thoughts about the day of delivery, which were filled with fear of the unknown and extreme tension. I was always afraid to think about the moment of delivery, fearing that it might be difficult or not as I hoped and planned. I was also afraid that it might be a Cesarean section, not natural. However, Fatima noticed this and supported me especially. She was with me at every step after childbirth and the reception of my baby ♥️♥️, with the support and participation of my husband in every moment of pregnancy and our joint preparation for the reception of our child. I began to learn more about childbirth and how to prepare for it.
To this day, I am satisfied with every fate and arrangement from God Almighty. I started reciting Surah Maryam specifically, as a reinforcement for my psyche, until I calmed down and became more stable. However, I had imagined all this while preparing for a natural delivery. In the first month of the ninth, we discovered that my baby (Saleh) was in a breech position, and his head was up, not descending to the pelvis for a natural birth. The doctor told me we would try to turn him using the ECV method in the 37th week, but I refused. Otherwise, we would have to plan for a Cesarean section. Here, the fear returned to me, but after thinking and discussing with my husband and Fatima, that this is the safe way for me and my baby, I entrusted Allah, and I was satisfied and happy and mentally prepared for anything because I trusted in God ♥️.
In addition, my baby's weight was somewhat low, but we decided, my husband and I, that I continue with exercises to facilitate childbirth and healthy eating. I would complete the ninth month until its end, feeling any signs of childbirth, and my baby would be ready, and then we would determine a day for the Cesarean section. Indeed, in the last week of the ninth month, I began to feel labor pain and signs of childbirth before my scheduled delivery date by two weeks. I dealt with it patiently and somewhat calmly until the delivery date was set for me. On the same day, and a day before the operation, real labor began until the cervix opened, and I was taken for the Cesarean section as quickly as possible.
At the same time, Fatima was still following me step by step. I felt a little tension and fear, but at the same time, a kind of relief and extreme joy that I would finally see and meet God's beautiful blessing, my son Saleh 🥰. The birth went well and smoothly, and during the delivery, my husband listened to Surah Maryam to reassure my heart and calm me during childbirth. With the first glance at my child, my heart was filled with happiness and joy. I forgot all the fatigue and tension we went through. It was God's great favor on us 🥰
